Christopher Nusbaum is a member of Carson LLP’s Business Team, serving clients in real estate, business planning, and municipal law. His practice focuses on professional team-based planning and transactional matters, including sales, acquisitions, and corporate conversions.
A Fort Wayne native, Christopher always knew he would return to Northern Indiana to pursue his passion for law. His client-centered approach reflects his commitment to helping individuals and businesses navigate complex legal transactions with confidence. He takes a thoughtful, strategic approach to legal planning. He believes in proactive collaboration and works closely with clients to deliver comprehensive solutions aligned with their long-term goals.
He earned his J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 2011, where he served as Managing Editor of the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies. He also holds a B.A. in Political Science and Economics from Indiana University (2008), with Business Foundations Accreditation from the Kelley School of Business.
Christopher is admitted to practice in Indiana and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
In addition to his professional achievements, Christopher is deeply committed to community service. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Embassy Theatre’s Board of Directors and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Trinity English Lutheran Church Foundation. He is also the Leader of the Allen County Bar Association’s Real Property Section, a member of the Community Foundation’s Professional Advisor Leadership Council, and a board member of Foster Park Little League, where he enjoys coaching his son’s teams. He previously served as Board President of Wellspring Interfaith Social Services and as a board member and secretary of Family Centered Services in Bluffton, Indiana. As a dedicated legal advisor, Christopher continues to provide trusted counsel in estate, real estate, municipal, and business planning. His impact extends beyond his legal practice, as he supports local initiatives, mentors younger associates, and helps clients make informed decisions for the future with clarity and confidence.
